Briery Wood Hotel

It was a such wonderful experience. Homey place, brilliant food offered for English breakfast. I loved a pleasant restaurant with a local menu.

The property was impeccably clean, featured modern design, I loved it. Tbh, had a really enjoyable stay for location and overnight stay.

We liked every detail about our really nice 1 night stay here. The room was fashionable and newly remodelled, we had central heating, a work desk and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

It's a cosy hotel, the staff are polite and the breakfast is superb.

It's fairly clean, very good staff and food.

I had a very nice experience. The location was ideal, not very far from an adventure park.

Came here for weekend, had enjoyable 2 days overall. There was variety of excellent options for continental breakfast. The location was central, so close to Windermere and Brockhole and Lake Windermere. I thoroughly enjoyed to be in this place.

The place was modern and homely and the staff were professional, the location was perfect very near to the lake.

Our room was updated and relaxing with 2 extra beds forced in. This hotel was located in a central area just off Ambleside and nice gardens.

Unbeatable location; hearty breakfast and good bed. The units are immaculate, convenient. Location right by Windermere, the beautiful Lake Windermere and the beer garden.

Staff were happy to help, all best. The location was prime, just a short walk away from white cross bay. The food in the restaurant was incredible and the restaurant was particularly good: )

Unfortunately Wi-Fi was very poor, and the bed was very small.

Loved this place, it was atmospheric. The staff here was cheery - accommodating service & great communication. The breakfast was hot, with lots of different options. Central location, not too far from Treetop Trek. Really lovely stay in the very industrial area.

Super location, very specious room, and enthusiastic staff. Perfect breakfast, impeccable service. The beds were not so comfortable here, yet it was an absolutely amazing stay all in all. Hotel was ideally located for celebrating birthday.

Fairly clean property. Liked the guest room, it was convenient the time we came in. The staff seemed obliging, they made our stay perfect 10/10. The breakfast was FAIRLY GOOD with lots of splendid food on offer. Picturesque location to ambleside roman fort.

The hotel had excellent food and rooms. Bar staff had a real "can do" approach. Moreover, there is a parking onsite.

Recommend this place to everyone. Friendly staff & quiet location. Easy walk to blue smoke on the bay, where you can have lunch. We booked a superior room and appreciated it.

Honestly nothing too much trouble. Staff was helpful and food was amazing. Greatly enjoyed that we had a heating system and a work desk in the double room.

The breakfast was sensational there. Not the cheapest one but good value...

hardly a 10-minute walk from wray castle, which was suitable for us. sailingdinnercruises, where you can eat, is an easy walk to the hotel. located within a walk to windermere, which is about 600 metres away.
